NASA Finds Message From God on Mars

NASA has announced  that its Curiosity Rover has found an unambiguous message from God written on tablets in a Martian cave. According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain. Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages - including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading "I am real." According to top scientists who have studied the discovery extensively, these findings may have definitively established Christianity as the one true religion. "This is amazing," says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA's Mars Exploration Program. "We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of God's existence instead. Kano arrests food sellers to enforce Ramadan Fasting

   Muslims all over the world observe the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Kano State Hisbah Board Wednesday intensified efforts at arresting food sellers who sell during the day as well as any Muslims who deliberately refuse to observe the Ramadan Fasting. The Commander of the Board, Shiehk Aminu Daurawa, said his men so far have arrested quite a number of food sellers and Muslim adherents young and old male and female from the beginning of the Holy Month till date. Daurawa, also said that the board will not tolerate the attitudes of some Muslims who are in the habit of eating, smoking or drinking in public during the month of fasting without any health issues or tangible reason why they must not fast as Sharia permits. Borno: Boko Haram killed 150 Muslims during prayers

Suspected Boko Haram militants have killed nearly 150 people in north-eastern Nigerian villages, mowing down men and children while they prayed in mosques and shooting women preparing food at home, witnesses said Thursday.   Dozens of militants stormed three remote villages in the flashpoint Borno state on Wednesday evening, setting houses ablaze in the bloodiest day of attacks by the extremist group since President Muhammadu Buhari came to power in May.   Gunmen killed at least 97 people in Kukawa, the worst-affected village, a local who gave his name as Kolo and who said he had counted the bodies told AFP. “They wiped out the immediate family of my uncle… They killed his children, about five of them,” Kolo said.   A fisherman who witnessed the attack corroborated the death toll.   Babami Alhaji Kolo, another witness in Kukawa who fled to the state capital Maiduguri, said more than 50 militants had stormed the village.   “The terrorists fir...

A 35 year old housewife reportedly died mysteriously a few days after she gave birth to a set of twins on Aya-Oye Street, Ejiigbo,  a suburb of Lagos.. It was alleged that after she got pregnant, her married lover, identified simply as Fatai, took her to the home of a single mother (names withheld) in Aya-Oye Street, Ejigbo, to cover up the shame. It was learnt that Joy already had 3 children from her estranged husband who resides somewhere in Surulere before she became pregnant for Fatai who resides at Abaranje in Ikotun area. Tension in Anambra as 47 Boko Haram prisoners allegedly arrive Ekwulobia Prisons

THERE was tension in Anambra State yesterday, following reports that 47 Boko Haram  suspects have been relocated to Ekwulobia Prisons in Aguata Local Government Area of the state. When the rumor of the alleged relocation broke out weekend, hundreds of youths stormed the streets and all markets in the state were shut in protest. A visit to Ekwulobia Prisons, however, did not show any sign that new inmates were brought there and the prisons officials said they had not received any signal to that effect. However,  Vanguard  gathered last night that the 47  Boko Haram  prisoners were brought to Ekwulobia prisons in the dead of the night of Sunday, June 28, amid tight security.
